The client

Dejusticia is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the rule of law, promoting social justice, and advancing human rights in Colombia and Latin America. Its focus areas include ethno-racial, environmental, economic, fiscal, transitional, gender, land, and peasant justice, among others. Its website (dejusticia.org) is a multilingual platform (Spanish and English) designed to communicate research, news, and opinions.

We have redesigned and developed of Dejusticia for Turkey's leading technology company, KoçSistem, with asimplified design language and solutions.

The solution

One of the primary challenges we faced was gaining a deep understanding of our diverse user base. Dejusticia serves a wide array of stakeholders, including legal professionals, researchers, activists, and the general public. Each group has unique needs and expectations, making it essential to conduct thorough user research and create detailed personas to guide our design decisions.

1. UI Design

We built the design foundation for the brand by defining it's color, layout, typography and icons. This in later stages served as atoms to build progressively complex patterns and screens.

2. WordPress Development

We leveraged WordPress to create a flexible, user-friendly platform for Dejusticia. Custom themes and plugins ensured accessibility and seamless data integration. Robust security measures protected sensitive information, while a dynamic content management system kept information relevant and up-to-date.

3. Site Maintenance

We implemented regular updates and backups to ensure the platform's stability and security. Continuous monitoring and performance optimization kept the site running smoothly. User feedback channels allowed us to swiftly address issues and improve functionality. Training and documentation empowered Dejusticia's team to manage content effectively.
