The client
Wayne L. Wilson is an author who writes novels, screenplays, PSAs, memoirs, biographies, history books, college textbooks, and a wide array of books for children and young adults.
The challenge
The website was originally focused on a single book, The New Frontier. With the release of a second book, One Shining Soul, the site needed structural and visual updates to highlight both works.
Key requirements included:
- Integrate both books into the site with emphasis on the newest release.
- Create a dedicated page for the new book.
- Facilitate access to the preferred purchase channel.
- Differentiate book formats (digital, audiobook, physical).
- Improve email management and communication with followers.
The solution
The website was updated with a structural and visual overhaul to effectively promote both books:
- Homepage redesigned to showcase both books with emphasis on the newest.
- Dedicated page created for One Shining Soul with detailed info and purchase options.
- Purchase channels optimized — initially Amazon-focused, then expanded to additional digital channels.
- Visual enhancements to differentiate book formats clearly.
- Google Workspace configured for email management and follower communication.

The homepage was restructured to present both The New Frontier and One Shining Soul, giving slightly more prominence to the newest release:
- Direct access to each book page from the homepage.
- Visual improvements to highlight covers, descriptions, and calls-to-action.
- Clear differentiation between digital edition, audiobook, and physical edition.






Google Workspace & Communication
Google Workspace was configured for the author to improve email management, manage communication with followers, and reduce spam. A guide and recommendations were provided to help the author use Google Workspace effectively with the website.
